Speaker: Rakesh Kumar

Date: 20 January, 2015 (Tuesday)

Time: 09:15 pm – 10:15 pm

Venue: Lecture Hall I, Department of Mathematics

Abstract: In this talk, we will see how primitive set functions can be used to construct a regular Borel measure. We will also discuss how a positive linear functional on a space of real-valued functions with compact support on a locally compact space X, can be used to generate a regular Borel measure on X.
